He is said to have married a daughter of Sir Patrick Grahame. This is contradicted by a statement in Scots Peerage volume VI, p. 208, saying that the daughter of Patrick Graham married Sir Malcolm Drummond (grandson of this Malcolm Drummond) and became mother of Queen Margaret. Cronologically this fits better.5
