In 1605 Robert Sinclair of "Burghe" is said to be his brother.9
This cannot be correct. His son, Andrew is elsewhere said to be cousin of Laurence Sinclair of Burgh (he would otherwise have been his nephew). Edward instead appears to be the uncle of both Robert and Laurence of Brugh.
He was his father's third son.10
