George Gordon was a great acquirer of lands. In 1 600, or thereabout, he acquired Bruckles from Willlam Meldrum of Badenscoth. Three years later, he purchased Badenscoth from the Meldrums, and in 1614, he acquired Darley from Meldrum of Ide.9
