Descent seems unlikely
2018-01-26 22:03:20 Christoffer Owe (Admin):He seems to be as old as his father. He was an adult already in 1411 and can hardly have been a grandson of Ingemar Grubbe who was still living in 1417. It is reason to suspect that the relationships in Danmarks Adels Aarbog are based on old genealogies and not primary sources.
He cannot have been named both Niels and Jens
2018-01-26 22:26:01 Christoffer Owe (Admin):Niels and Jens are two completely different names (from Nicolaus and Johannes). Either one of the names is correct and the other one a mistake, or this is really two different persons. Again it's completely unclear from Danmarks Adels Aarbog which name is used in which primary source.
