She is frequently identified with Adelheid, the second wife of Otto I of Brandenburg. This seems unlikely from a cronologicalpoint of view. It seems more likely that she was the wife of Otto II of Brandenburg instead. She is also said to have died without issue, while the second wife of Otto I did have issue.5
